1. Curriculum content
Some lessons are built using curriculum data and questions from Oak National Academy, a UK-based provider of free curriculum resources, used via their public API. Where a lesson draws on Oak content, it is cited on that lesson in the app.
Open item pending final legal review: Oak National Academy publishes its resources under an open licence; the exact licence terms and required attribution form for API-sourced content are being confirmed against Oak's current terms of use, and this section will be updated with the specific licence name and any additional attribution Oak's terms require before this policy's effective date is set.
2. Other cited sources
Where a topic is not covered by Oak National Academy, AIQ's research step draws on other publicly available reference material (for example encyclopaedic and government science sources), cited per lesson. AIQ does not claim ownership of third-party source material — only of the generated lesson text itself, which is written fresh from that material.
3. Open-source software
AIQ is built with open-source software, including React Native, NestJS, PostgreSQL, and other packages each under their own licence. A full list of dependencies and licences is available on request at [email protected].
4. Trademarks
Product and company names mentioned on this site are trademarks of their respective owners. Reference to them is for identification only, and does not imply endorsement of AIQ by those companies.
