Accessibility
Built to work for how you read
Accessibility is a product requirement in AIQ, not an add-on. Here is what that means concretely.
Media
- Every audio or video lesson ships with captions and a full text transcript.
- Diagrams carry descriptive alt text, and nothing is conveyed by colour alone — status is always paired with an icon, label, or pattern.
Rewards and feedback
XP, gems, and streak feedback are multi-modal: an icon, a short label, and (where audio is on) a spoken affirmation — never colour or sound alone.
Reading and display
- Text scales with your device's dynamic type / font-size setting.
- An optional dyslexia-friendly font and adjustable letter spacing are available in Settings.
- The app respects your device's reduced-motion setting.
Screen readers
Interactive elements carry accessibility labels and roles for VoiceOver and TalkBack. We are continuing a full device-lab pass ahead of public launch; if you hit a screen reader issue, please tell us — see Support.
Standard
We design against WCAG 2.2 AA as a baseline. This is a statement of intent and ongoing work, not a certification.
